REVERSE ENGINEERING
Reverse Engineering is a process of converting real world object to virtual world with parametrically accurate 3D CAD models and 2D Drawings by using 3D Metrology grade equipment such as handheld scanner, Scan arms and long Range terrestrial scanners.
Reverse Engineering, is a term used in mechanical engineering, process involves extracting dimensions using various instruments such as 3D Scanner’s, CMM’s, Vernier Calliper’s, Height Gauge, Depth Gauge and various other equipment’s, those reading are then converted in Computer Aided Design (CAD) which are finally prepared for manufacturing and dimensional quality control. The CAD can be a single component, a sub assembly or a whole module assembly.
